OKLAHOMA CITY – The Pioneer Women's Soccer team locked up the 8-seed in the upcoming 2025 Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Championships and will take on the 1-seed John Brown Golden Eagles in the Quarter-Final match up.
After missing the SAC Women's Soccer Championships in 2024, the Pioneers earned their way back into the tournament after finishing the 2025 regular season with a 5-9-1 overall record and 2-6-1 in conference play.
The Pioneers clinched the 8-seed after junior Talia Gissoni leveled the scoring in their final regular season contest against Oklahoma Panhandle State with a beautiful strike from a free kick just outside the 18 yard box with less than 30 seconds left in the match.
The 2025 SAC Women's Soccer Championship Quarter-Final matches will be:

(5) Southwestern Christian at (4) Mid-America Christian
(6) Oklahoma Panhandle State at (3) Oklahoma City
(7) Nelson at (2) Science & Arts
The Pioneers will travel to Siloam Springs, Arkansas to take on the John Brown Golden Eagles on Tuesday, November 4
th. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.
