Pioneers Rise to #20 in Updated NAIA Men's Wrestling Coaches' Top 25 Poll

KANSAS CITY, MO. --- The Wayland Baptist Men's Wrestling team has risen to #20 in the third edition of the NAIA Men's Wrestling Coaches' Top 25 Poll, per the NAIA offices. The Pioneers were previously ranked at #25 in the last update of the rankings.

The Pioneers made the five spot jump in the updated NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll after coming off an outstanding performance in the Spire Duals. Wayland Baptist sits at 5-1 in the 2025 season with wins against multiple top ranked opponents.

Four Pioneers found themselves ranked in the Top 25 individual rankings in their respective weight classes. Those four Pioneers are:

• Jesse Lewis is ranked 14^th in the 125lb class
• Jaden Two Lance is ranked 7^th in the 149lb class
• Dayne Stormer is ranked 20^th in the 184lb class
• Emmett Bivens is ranked 13^th in the 285lb class
