NCCAA Selects Samuel Fabian as Baseball Player of the Week

The NCCAA named Samuel Fabian of Wayland Baptist the Baseball Player of the Week Monday.
 
His exploits at the plate helped the Pioneers to a 4-0 record for the week, including a sweep of Central Christian College of Kansas which allowed WBU to claim the Sooner Athletic Conference regular season title.

Fabian, a senior from Santiago, Dominican Republic, had a .667 average this week, going 8-of-12 at the plate.  His two home runs and two doubles helped him to a 1.333 slugging percentage. Fabian drove in ten runs and scored seven runs.
