SAC Baseball and Softball Tournaments to Start One Day Later Due to Rain

The Sooner Athletic Conference offices have announced a few changes to the SAC Baseball and Softball Championships that are set to take place this weekend after projected weather put the original start date in jeopardy.
 
 
BASEBALL CHANGES
 
The 2025 SAC Baseball Championships will now begin on Saturday, May 3^rd, and the Championship Game is set to be played on Sunday, May 4^th unless the "if-necessary" game needs to be played. The "if-necessary" game will be played on Sunday, May 5^th.
 
The Pioneers will now play the Stars of Oklahoma City on Saturday, May 3^rd at 10:00 AM on the campus of Science & Arts (Okla.)
 
The tournament is still scheduled to be played on the campus of Science & Arts (Okla.) in Chickasha, Oklahoma, but that could potentially change depending on the condition of the field.

SOFTBALL CHANGES
 
The 2025 SAC Softball Championships will also be pushed back and start one day than originally planned. The tournament is set to begin on Friday, May 2^nd and conclude on Sunday, May 4^th.
 
The Pioneers will now play the host and 1-seed Drovers of Science & Arts (Okla.) on Friday, May 2^nd at 11:00 AM in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
 
The host sites will still be the University of Science & Arts (Okla.) and Oklahoma City University.
