Claudio Named NCCAA Baseball First Team All-American, Three Others Earn Second Team All-American

Greenville, SC --- Senior Delvis Claudio has been recognized as a 2025 NCCAA Baseball First Team All-American after his outstanding 2025 season. Seniors Felix Polanco, Samuel Fabian, and Juan Gil-Franco received 2025 NCCAA Baseball Second Team All-American recognition.
 
A native of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, Claudio earned his NCCAA First Team All-American recognition after hitting .383 with 20 home runs, 59 RBIs, and a .780 slugging percentage. Claudio was also named a First Team All-SAC recipient and the 2025 NCCAA Baseball All-Central Region Player of the Year.
 
Polanco was the ultimate super-utilityman for the Pioneers this season, making an impact both at the dish and on the mound. Polanco, the 2025 SAC Player of the Year and a 2025 NCCAA Second Team All-American, hit an astounding .428 this year with 17 home runs, 79 RBIs, and a .784 slugging percentage. Polanco also tossed a team-high 84.0 innings with 84 strikeouts and a 9.00 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
 
Fabian continued to mash the baseball this season – something he has done throughout his entire tenure as a Pioneer. The 2025 NCCAA Baseball Second Team All-American finished the season hitting .354 with a team-high 27 home runs, 84 RBIs, and an eye-popping .862 slugging percentage. Fabian absolutely raked during the 2025 NAIA Baseball Opening Rounds, clubbing four home runs in five games.
 
Gil-Franco was the most consistent Pioneer pitcher this season, and it earned him a 2025 NCCAA Baseball Second Team All-American nomination. Gil-Franco appeared in 24 games this season (including four starts), and he tossed 70.2 innings, earning an 11-4 overall record, 75 strikeouts, and a 3.95 ERA.
 
These four seniors led the Pioneers to the best season in program history, winning the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship for the first time in program history and reaching the NAIA Baseball Opening Rounds for the first time since 2016.
