Flying Queens Recognized as 2024-25 NCCAA Scholar Team

Greenville, SC -- The Wayland Baptist Flying Queens have been named a 2024-2025 NCCAA Scholar Team after an unbelievable season both on the court and in the classroom.
 
To be eligible for an NCCAA Scholar Team award, teams need a minimum grade point average of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale for all combined student-athletes on the team.
 
The Flying Queens maintained a 3.40 team grade point average this season, while finishing the 2024-25 season with a 26-5 overall record and 21-3 in Sooner Athletic Conference play.
 
In total, 21 institutions were represented on the list of 46 total Scholar Teams.
