Lexington, KY --- The Pioneer Volleyball and Women's Beach Volleyball teams have earned 2025 AVCA Team Academic Honors, recognizing their outstanding efforts in the classroom this past year.

To be considered for the AVCA Team Academic Awards, teams must maintain a year-long GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

The Pioneer Volleyball team had a strong season, finishing with a 15-13 overall record, including a 14-8 record during Sooner Athletic Conference play. They finished the 2024-2025 school year with a strong team GPA of 3.31 on a 4.0 scale.

The Pioneer Women's Beach Volleyball team capped of their inaugural season with a third-place finish at the AVCA Small College Beach Championships, going 2-2 at the event. They finished the 2024-2025 school year with an outstanding 3.79 team GPA on a 4.0 scale.
