OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Wayland Baptist Volleyball has been picked to finish 6
th in the 2025 Sooner Athletic Conference Volleyball Coaches' Preseason Poll, per the Sooner Athletic Conference.
The 2025 Pioneer Volleyball team will have many familiar faces returning to the court this season. There are 13 returners from last year's team, plus the addition of four players from the Pioneer Beach Volleyball team and three newcomers.
Last year's conference champions, Nelson, were picked to win the SAC again this season followed by Texas Wesleyan to finish second, and John Brown to finish third.

The Pioneers will open the 2025 season on August 22
nd and 23
rd when they head north to Parkville, Missouri to compete in the Pirate Invitational hosted by Park University (MO). They will first play Bethel (KS) on Friday, August 22
nd at 4:15 PM. Next, they will play a doubleheader on Saturday, August 23
rd against University of Saint Mary (KS) at 10:00 AM, and Park University (MO) at 4:00 PM.
The Pioneers first home game will be on Tuesday, September 9
th when they host Lubbock Christian at 7:00 PM.
During the 2025 season, the Pioneers will host 12 regular season home games.
