KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Wayland Baptist Men's Golf team were ranked 6
th in the 2025-25 NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Preseason Poll, per the NAIA offices.
The Pioneers will have many returners from the 2024-25 season, including NAIA Second Team All-American
Leonard Lebrun. Along with Lebrun, the other returners are
Sacha Brendle,
Nino Mahy,
Etienne Bocquillon, and
Aiden Conroy.
There will be three newcomers added to the 25-26 Pioneer roster.
Alexandre Genet is a sophomore from Villeneuve-Loubet, France.
Brock Amrine is a freshman from Fort Worth, Texas.
Bodee Bratcher is a freshman from Canyon, Texas.
Last season, the Pioneers placed third at the NAIA Men's Golf National Championships. They secured their second straight NCCAA Men's Golf National Championship. For the season, they won a total of five team championships.
The Pioneers will open the 2025-26 season on September 2
nd and 3
rd when they compete in the Mid-South Invitational, a tournament they have won the past two seasons.
