OKLAHOMA CITY --- Wayland Baptist sophomore
Ryder Robison has been named this week's SAC Digital Scoreboard Men's Track Athlete of the Week, per the Sooner Athletic Conference offices.
A native of Memphis, Texas, Robison had an outstanding performance this weekend at the 2026 Friends University First Chance Qualifier. Robison brought home first place in the men's 3000m run after finishing with a time of 9:23.06.
Robison was victorious against a loaded field in the 3000m run that featured 18 other competitors. It was Robison's first victory on the young season, and he will look to carry that momentum into this weekend's Corky Classic hosted by Texas Tech University on January 16
th and 17
th in Lubbock, Texas.
