Sacha Brendle has earned this week's SAC Digital Scoreboards Men's Golfer of the Week award, per the Sooner Athletic Conference offices. This is the 2
nd player of the week award for Brendle this season.
The Benfeld, France native secured this week's award after an outstanding performance last week at The Battle at Laughlin Ranch GC where he earned a tie for 2
nd place overall. Brendle finished the three round tournament with scores of 74-72-68-214, using the final round 68 (-4 under Par) to surge up the leaderboard.
Brendle was one of the best players in the field on Par 4s and Par 5s. He averaged 3.90 shots per Par 4 (-3 under Par), which was tied for the 2
nd lowest score on Par 4s. He averaged 4.75 shots per Par 5 (-3 under Par), which was also tied for 2
nd in the field.
Across three rounds of play, Brendle scored 14 Birdies (most in the tournament) and 30 Pars.
Brendle and the Pioneers are currently competing in the 2026 Roadrunner Invitational in Rocky Face, Georgia.
