KANSAS CITY – Wayland Baptist junior
Sacha Brendle earns 2026 NAIA Men's Golf Second Team All-American honors, per the NAIA offices.
A native of Benfeld, France, Brendle was the most consistent performer for the Pioneers this season – a season that saw the Pioneers qualify for the 2026 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships where they took a tie for 11
th place overall.
Brendle ended the 2026 season with a scoring average of 71.6, the best on the team and the reason he earned this year's WBU Men's Golf Manning Award, an award presented to the lowest stroke average player on the squad.
Brendle clinched two individual titles this season – the Chicken Express Classic (-16 under Par) and the Top of Texas Invitational (-3 under Par). To go along with these victories, Brendle also placed 2
nd at The Battle at Laughlin Rach GC (-2 under Par).
Brendle was also recognized as a 2026 PING All-Region recipient this year.
