SILVIS, IL. – The Pioneer men's golf team finishes tied for 11
th at the 2026 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships. Juniors
Sacha Brendle and
Leonard Lebrun each earn a tie for 17
th to lead Wayland Baptist.
Wayland Baptist finished tied for 11
th out of the 29-team field after finishing with four round scores of 295-293-292-302-1182. The Pioneers made the cut after round two when they were sitting in 8
th place overall. Across four rounds of play, the Pioneers scored 35 Birdies and 207 Pars.
A native of Benfeld, France,
Sacha Brendle finished tied for 17
th after scoring 71-73-70-76-290. Brendle scored 12 Birdies (T-7
th most in the field) and 40 Pars during his four rounds.
Junior
Leonard Lebrun also finished in a tie for 17
th after finishing the four round tournament with scores of 72-74-74-70-290. Lebrun scored 11 Birdies (T-11
th most in the field) and 41 Pars.
Sophomore
Nino Mahy finished in a tie for 49
th place after shooting 76-72-74-77-299. Mahy ended the tournament tied for the 4
th most Pars in the field (49) while also scoring 5 Birdies.
Etienne Bocquillon earned a tie for 66
th place after scoring 78-74-74-79-305 across four rounds of golf. Bocquillon scored 48 Pars, T-7
th most in the tournament, and 3 Birdies.
Alexandre Genet competed in the first three rounds, scoring 76-83-78 before
Aiden Conroy played the final round and shot an 83. Genet scored 4 Birdies and 22 Pars across his three rounds of play. In one round of action, Conroy scored 7 Pars.
