PLAINVIEW – The 17
th ranked Wayland Baptist men's golf team has received an at-large bid to compete in the 2026 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships.
The Pioneers are coming off a 5
th place finish at the 2026 SAC Men's Golf Championships, and sophomore
Etienne Bocquillon earned a 9
th place finish after shooting even Par over three rounds of action.
There will be 29 teams and 11 individuals competing in the NAIA National Championships. There will be four Sooner Athletic Conference members represented in the field: Wayland Baptist, Oklahoma City, Texas Wesleyan, and Science & Arts.
The Pioneers took 3
rd place at the 2025 NAIA National Championships, so they will be looking to replicate that same performance at this year's tournament.
The 2026 NAIA National Championships will take place on May 12-15 in Silvis, Illinois at TPC Deere Run.
