Men's Golf Takes 5th Against Stacked Field at The Invite at Innisbrook

PALM HARBOR, FL – Wayland Baptist Men's Golf brings home a tie for 5th place at The Invite at Innisbrook hosted by #4 Dalton State. Leonard Lebrun earned his second Top 10 finish of the 2025-26 season.

The Pioneers finished tied for 5th after shooting 298-290-300-888. As a team, the Pioneers finished tied for 4th in lowest team score on Par 3s after averaging 3.17 shots per Par 3. They ended the three round tournament with a total of 31 Birdies and 151 Pars.

Lebrun finished in a tie for 8th place after shooting 72-71-75-218. Lebrun was solid on Par 5s after finishing with a score of -2 under Par and an average of 4.83 shots per Par 5. He ended the three round tournament with six Birdies and 37 Pars.

Sophomore Nino Mahy ended the tournament in 13th place with scores of 73-76-70-219. Mahy was also impressive on Par 5s, ending with a final score of -2 under Par and an average of 4.83 shots per Par 5. Mahy scored the 3rd most Birdies in the tournament (9) while also scoring 32 Pars.

Sacha Brendle finished tied for 33rd with scores of 75-71-79-225. Brendle was similar to Mahy, finishing the tournament with nine Birdies while also adding 30 Pars to his scorecard.

Sophomore Etienne Bocquillon finished in a tie for 88th with scores of 83-72-84-239. Bocquillon scored six Birdies and 23 Pars across three rounds of play.

Freshman Bodee Bratcher came in a tie for 93rd with scores of 78-86-76-240. Bratcher ended the tournament with a Birdie and 29 Pars.

#3 Keiser earned the team championship (285-288-283-856), Ave Maria earned 2nd place (297-284-299-880), and #20 Reinhardt finished in 3rd (296-294-292-882).

The Pioneers will return to action on October 14th when they host the Chicken Express Classic at Plainview CC in Plainview, Texas.
