Pioneers Jump to #9 in Latest NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll

KANSAS CITY, MO. --- The Wayland Baptist Women's Wrestling team has moved up to #9 in the latest NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll, per the NAIA offices.
The Pioneers jumped up one spot after previously being ranked #10. After a solid 2-2 showing at the 2025 Lindenwood Duals, it wasn't quite a surprise to see the Pioneers move up in the poll. The Pioneers jumped SAC-foe Texas Wesleyan in the updated rankings with the Rams falling to #10.

There are multiple Pioneers who found themselves in the top 20 rankings within their respective weight classes. The following Pioneers are individually ranked:

The Pioneers will return to the mat on November 21-22, 2025, when they travel to Marshall, Missouri to compete in the 2025 Missouri Valley Open.
