Kansas City, MO – The NAIA has announced the qualifiers for the 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championship Meet. Nine members of the Wayland Baptist Men's Track & Field team are among the qualifiers.
Three Pioneers qualified in individual events, including
Case Drum in the men's 600-meter run (1:19.85),
Matthew Gordon in the men's 800-meter run (1:52.29) and
Justin Guy in the men's 60-meter hurdles (7.77).
Wayland Baptist also had two relay teams qualify. The 4x400 meter relay team comprised of
Case Drum,
Evans Pololet, Diego Constantino, Todd Young and
Matthew Gordon qualified with a time of 3:16.48. The Distance Medley relay team qualified with a time of 10:10.70. The members of the Distance Medley relay team are Ryder Robinson,
David Hernandez,
Evans Pololet, Diego Constantino,
Jace Sanchez and
Matthew Gordon.
The 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship will take place at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Florida from February 27 – March 1.
