The 2024-25 Academic All-District Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, have been released and Wayland Baptist is represented by four Flying Queens and one Pioneer. The College Sports Communicators recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The four Flying Queens who received Academic All-District honors include
Kaitlyn Jerden, a graduate student from Littlefield, TX,
Emily Sigala, a senior from Plainview, TX,
Peyton North, a sophomore from Lubbock, TX and
Bobbie Fouquet, a sophomore from Claude, TX.
The Pioneers were represented by
Joshua Tucker, a senior from Childress, TX.
