Oklahoma City – The 2025 Softball All-Sooner Athletic Conference teams have been announced by the league office Wednesday.  The teams were selected based on voting by the head coaches.  Wayland Baptist had four players receiving recognition.
Brooklyn Araujo, a senior from Long Beach, California, was named 1
st Team All-SAC. Araujo was a very solid middle infielder, excelling at both second base and short stop, and she led the Pioneers in virtually every category at the plate. She boasted a .400 batting average, an on base percentage of .430 and a slugging percentage of .688.  Araujo had 64 hits on the season, with 29 of those being for extra bases (18 2B, 5 3B and 6 HR) and drove in 40 runs while striking out only 4 times.
Adriana Armstrong, a junior pitcher from Maricopa, Arizona, was named 2
nd Team All-SAC. Armstrong had 24 starts on the season, pitching 160.1 innings. Her overall record was 11-12 with an ERA of 2.88.  She struck out 126 hitters.
Earning Honorable Mention recognition was 
Addy Rich.  Rich, a senior from Georgetown, Texas, had 23 starts in the circle with a record of 8-13.  She had a 4.73 ERA in her 118.1 innings pitched.
Amber Poorbaugh earned a Golden Glove award for her outstanding work at 1
st base.  Poorbaugh, a senior from Spring, Texas, had a fielding percentage of .983 this season.  She had 219 put outs, with 7 assists with only 4 errors.
