th in the 2025 Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, per the SAC.

The Pioneers will be looking for a bounce back season under new head coach, Alex Castaneda. After finishing the 2024 season with a 2-11-2 overall record and 1-6-2 in SAC play, Coach Castaneda and the Pioneers will be looking to get back in the SAC Tournament this year.

John Brown was picked to win the SAC this year after finishing in a three-way tie for first last season. Science & Arts was picked second, and Mid-America Christian was picked third to round out the projected Top 3 finishers.

The Pioneers will host seven regular season games, including five Sooner Athletic Conference games. They will also play host to three scrimmages.

The Pioneers will open the regular season on Saturday, August 23
rd when they travel to Portales, New Mexico for a match against Eastern New Mexico University. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
