Motsi Earns NCCAA Men's Soccer Division 1 Offensive Player of the Week Award

GREENVILLE, SC -- Wayland Baptist University senior forward Francis Motsi has been named the NCCAA Division I Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, following an outstanding performance that powered the Pioneers to a strong start this season.
 
Motsi showcased his scoring prowess in WBU's recent matches, tallying two goals in Pioneers 4-1 victory over McMurry to open the 2025 season. His ability to create opportunities and finish with precision made him a key difference-maker for the Pioneers' attack.
 
This is Motsi's first NCCAA Player of the Week honor this season, and he becomes the latest Pioneer to earn national recognition for his performance on the pitch.
 
Wayland Baptist (1-0) will return to action on Thursday, August 28^th when they face Paul Quinn College in Dallas, Texas. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
