ANDREWS, TX – The Pioneers had an extremely strong showing at the 2025 Andrews Collegiate Amateur in Andrews, Texas, finishing in 2
nd place overall. Junior
Leonard Lebrun earned 2nd place individual finish to pace the Pioneers.
Wayland Baptist earned 2
nd place after scoring 272-276-548. Midland College narrowly edged out the Pioneers for the team championship after finishing with scores of 272-274-546. Odessa JC finished in 3rd with scores of 270-279-549.
Lebrun, a 2025 NAIA Second Team All-American, had his best finish to the young season, finishing in 2
nd place with scores of 69-66-135. Lebrun finished one shot back of the individual winner, Robert Gonzalez of McClennan CC.
Sophomore
Nino Mahy was outstanding in his own regard, finishing in a tie for 3
rd after shooting 68-68-136.
Junior
Sacha Brendle was the final Pioneer to finish in the Top 10, earning a tie for 7
th place after scoring 69-68-137.
Sophomore
Etienne Bocquillon turned in a solid performance, coming in a tie for 18
th place with scores of 66-74-140.
Freshman
Bodee Bratcher ended the tournament in 34
th place with scores of 75-76-151 in his second career event.
