DUNCAN, Okla. – The Wayland Baptist women's golf team took 3
rd place at the 2026 SAC Women's Golf Championships. Freshman
Isabelle Victoria Soh was the top finisher for the Pioneers, earning 6
th place.
The Pioneers earned the Top 3 finish after scoring 334-315-318-967 across three rounds of action. The Pioneers scored the 4
th most Birdies in the field (15) and the 3
rd most Pars (118).
Isabelle Victoria Soh finished in 6
th place after shooting 75-76-79-230 across three rounds of golf. Soh finished tied for 6
th in Birdies with five while also scoring 30 Pars (7
th most in the field).
Juanita Villafane finished just outside the Top 10 in 11
th place after scoring 89-77-78-244. Villafane also finished tied for 6
th in Pars (5) while scoring 25 Pars.
Ellen Lonergan finished right behind Villafane in 12
th place after shooting 82-84-79-245. Across three rounds of play, Lonergan scored three Birdies and 28 Pars (9
th most in the field).
Marissa Armendariz finished in a tie for 15
th after scoring 88-78-82-248 over three rounds. Armendariz scored one Birdie to go along with 27 Pars (10
th most in the field).
Avery Lodes finished in 25
th place after scoring 97-97-94-288. Lodes ended the tournament with one Birdie and 8 Pars.
