PLAINVIEW, Texas – The Wayland Baptist University Women's Golf team has been recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) as the
2025-26 WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award winner after posting a
3.881 team GPA, the highest among all NAIA women's golf programs.
The Pioneers' outstanding achievement reflects the program's commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the golf course. The honor recognizes teams that demonstrate exceptional academic success throughout the academic year.

The WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award is presented annually to collegiate women's golf teams that achieve the highest level of academic performance, highlighting the dedication and hard work of student-athletes in balancing their academic and athletic commitments.
