Pioneer Football to Host Four Home Games this Upcoming 2025 Season

PLAINVIEW, Tex. – The Pioneer Football team is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season that includes four home games.
 
The 2024 season was a huge step forward for Head Coach Marcos Hinojos Sr. and the Pioneers. The Pioneers, who finished with a 4-6 overall record and 3-5 record during Sooner Athletic Conference play, finished T-6th in the SAC last season after totaling four wins combined over the previous two seasons.
 
It will be a tough away schedule this season for the Pioneers as they take on Louisiana Christian, Ottawa (AZ), and Texas Wesleyan all on the road. Texas Wesleyan finished as the 11th ranked team in the NAIA in the Postseason Poll, while OUAZ finished 16th in the country.
 
The 2025 schedule will feature one home scrimmage, four home games, and five away games. The full schedule is:
 
-Wednesday, August 20th vs. New Mexico Military Institute at 6:30 PM(SCRIMMAGE) - HOME
-Saturday, September 6th at Ottawa (AZ) at 8:00 PM CST - AWAY
-Saturday, September 13th at Louisiana Christian at 6:00 PM - AWAY
-Saturday, September 20th at Howard Payne at 11:00 AM - AWAY
-Saturday, September 27th vs. Texas College at 4:00 PM – HOME
-Saturday, October 4th vs. Oklahoma Panhandle State at 4:00 PM – HOME
-Saturday, October 18th vs. Langston at 2:00 PM – HOME
-Saturday, October 25th at Arkansas Baptist at 1:00 PM – AWAY
-Saturday, November 1st vs. Nelson at 2:00 PM – HOME
-Saturday, November 15th at Texas Wesleyan at 2:00 PM - AWAY
 
Home games will be played at Greg Sherwood Memorial Bulldog Stadium, so be sure and come check out the Pioneer Football team this upcoming 2025 season
