OKLAHOMA CITY --- Wayland Baptist women's track & field athlete
Mia Gray has earned another SAC Digital Scoreboards Women's Field Athlete of the Week recognition, per the Sooner Athletic Conference offices.
Gray, a native of Sunray, Texas, had another solid performance in the women's shot put event at the UNM Team Open. Gray took 9
th place out of 30 competitors with a furthest throw of 12.69m. Gray competed against athletes from all collegiate levels including athletes from UNLV, New Mexico State, Prairie View A&M, and West Texas A&M.
This is Gray's second SAC Digital Scoreboards Women's Field Athlete of the Week award of the season.
Gray and the Pioneer track & field team will compete in the Texas Wesleyan Winter Invitational on Friday, February 6
th, in Fort Worth, Texas.
