In their first year of competition, the men's swimming and diving team exceeded expectations. The Pioneers had a 3-2 dual record, competing against teams with established programs, and finished in the top-10 at the NAIA Championships, earning a final ranking of eight.

Bjoern Globke, Hugo Gallegos, Gabriel Phillips, Nathan McCormick, Josiah Morales, and Brandon Rodriguez all qualified for nationals in Oklahoma City.
