Colton Palmer came up with two game-winning hits for the Pioneers last week, one against Eastern New Mexico University and the other against No. 1-ranked Oklahoma City University.

The sophomore from Lubbock singled through the right side of the infield in the bottom of the 9th to break the tie and give Wayland the 8-7 victory over ENMU on Tuesday. Then in the third game of the series against OCU, Palmer capped off the 10-run comeback with a single up the middle to score the game-tying and game-winning runs, earning the Pioneers an 11-10 win over #1 OCU.
