PALM HARBOR, FL – After one round of play at the 2025 NCCAA Women's Golf National Championships, the Pioneers hold an eight shot lead with two rounds to play. Freshman
Isabelle Victoria Soh sits atop the leaderboards, while two others are currently in the Top 10.
Wayland Baptist shot a 317 as a team and hold a first place lead over Bethel (IN), who shot a 325. This is the Pioneers first appearance at the NCCAA Women's National Championships in program history.
The 2025 NCCAA Women's Golf National Championship standings currently show:
- Wayland Baptist – 317 (+29)
- Bethel (IN) – 325 – (+37)
- Grace – 332 (+44)
- Northwestern – St. Paul – 333 (+45)
- OUAZ – 337 (+49)
- Campbellsville – 346 (+58)
Soh, a native of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is currently in first place after shooting a first round 73 (+1). Soh holds a two shot lead over the current second place holder Morgan Eckman from Northwestern – St. Paul.
Ellen Lonergan is tied for 3
rd place after shooting a first round 78.
Marissa Armendariz rounds out the Pioneers in the top 10, owning a tie for 7
th place after shooting a first round score of 82.
Juanita Villafane finds herself in a tie for 15
th after shooting a first round score of 84, while
Avery Lodes sits in 33
rd place with a first round score of 103.
